Kale is One of the Top Super Foods

The top super foods include bananas, kale, almonds, and salmon. Let's talk a little bit about each of these super foods. Bananas are fantastic sources of potassium. You can use bananas for a breakfast super food and also include them in your oatmeal or cold cereal. Bananas are also fantastic and with morning smoothies. Kale is a leafy green that you should definitely enjoy as a substitute for plain old lettuce in salads. I use kale as a lunch time salad starter. You can add other toppings such as raw sunflower seeds and extra virgin olive oil to make a nice lunchtime meal. Almonds are a great snack. You can enjoy almonds because of their wonderful nutty flavor and because they are packed with protein. Almonds are a great snack that you can grab for instead of chocolate covered nuts when you have midday hunger pains. These are just a few of the super foods you should be enjoying and can include in your weight loss meal plans.
